Mamas of the Sturbridge Area (MOSA) is a community of local moms supporting each other through every stage of motherhood. From playdates to park meetups, mom’s nights out to family fun days. We’re all about connection, community, and making everyday life feel a little lighter (and a lot more fun).
Founded with the belief that it really does take a village, MOSA brings together moms from Sturbridge and surrounding towns who are looking to build friendships, swap stories, share resources, and create memories with their kids and each other.
In 2025, MOSA adopted a new structure called the MOSA Collective; a flexible, committee-based approach that lets members get involved in ways that feel right for them. Whether someone’s ready to dive in and help plan an event or simply wants to join the occasional outing, every kind of participation is welcome and valued!
What “The Collective” Does
Moms Night Out
Our most popular event—for good reason! Mom’s Night Out is your chance to relax, recharge, and reconnect with other local moms in a kid-free setting. From wine tastings and trivia nights to creative workshops and local adventures, every month brings something new. These evenings are all about fun, friendship, and filling your own cup.
Casual Meetups and Playdates
Whether you're rolling deep with strollers or rolling solo for a sanity break, our casual meet-ups are all about easy connection. Sometimes it’s a park or splash pad with the kids, other times it’s grabbing lunch, walking Target aisles together, or meeting up for a quick bite after bedtime. These are the no-stress, come-as-you-are moments that help real friendships grow
Family Days
Family Days are all about making memories together. We rotate between local parks, seasonal happenings, and town-wide events, with something for everyone. Sometimes it's bubbles and playground time, other times it's a local hotspot that both kids and grownups love. These casual, come-as-you-are gatherings are a great way to get out, have fun, and connect with other families in the area.
Community Outreach
We love giving back to the towns we live in. From our popular Tag Sale and Diaper Drive to the Festival of Giving Trees and other seasonal initiatives, our members come together to support local families and community needs in real, tangible ways.
